Day 1: Bangkok

Upon arrival at the airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Chiang Mai

Embark on a full-day guided tour to explore the capital’s most important landmarks. In the afternoon take a boat trip to see the life along the canals. In the evening transfer to the railway station for the overnight sleeper to Chiang Mai.

Day 3: Chiang Mai

Transfer in and visit the Temple of Doi Suthep, spectacularly situated on mountain with splendid views. In the afternoon enjoy cooking class. Visit a local market to buy all you need for the class. Your teacher will explain you everything about the ingredients and how to prepare delicious Thai dishes that you will savour for dinner.

Day 4: Chiang Khong

Travel by road to Chiang Rai. En-route, make a short stop at a hot spring and then continue to the famous Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet. Visit Yao and Akha hill-tribe villages and continue to Mae Sai and Chiang Khong.

Day 5: Pakbeng

Arrive Houixay and take a boat to Pak Beng. Visit some ethnic minority villages and arrive in Pak Beng for sunset.

Day 6: Luang Prabang

Continue your cruise to Luang Prabang with a stop at the mysterious Pak Ou caves.

Day 7: Luang Prabang

Visit Big Brother Mouse, a bookstore where cultural and linguistic exchange can be experienced and then enjoy a full day city tour. Enjoy the sunset on Phousi Hill and shopping at the Night Market.

Day 8: Luang Prabang

Those who rise early will be privileged to offer food to the monks. Enjoy a free day to explore this charming city.

Day 9: Vientiane

Flight to Vientiane (not included). Embark on a guided city tour of this charming French-inspired capital, including its oldest temples Wat Sisaket and Wat Prakeo. Then visit That Luang, a national symbol of Laos and Patouxai, Vientiane's triumphal arch.

Day 10: Hanoi

Free time and transfer for a flight to Hanoi (not included). Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Ease your day with a Water Puppet show.

Day 11: Hanoi

Full day tour in Hanoi

Enjoy a guided city tour of the historical city of Hanoi visiting Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature, the Historical Museum, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake and much more.

Day 12: Ha Long Bay

Travel to famous Halong Bay. Cruise around on a traditional junk boat and set sail through hundreds of limestone karsts that rise dramatically from the emerald waters of the bay. Overnight on board.

Day 13: Overnight Travel

Day 14: Hue

Day 15: Hoi An

A day to discover the beautiful city of Hue. Visit Khai Dinh, Tu Duc Imperial Tombs and the colourful Dong Ba Market. Take a scenic drive to Danang via Hai Van Pass. Continue your journey to Hoi An.

Day 16: Da Nang

Walking tour through the Old Quarter visiting the town’s famous landmarks. Take a river trip and enjoy the scenery and the panorama of Hoi An Ancient Town. In the afternoon, transfer back to Danang Beach.

Day 17: Da Nang

A day at leisure to enjoy a relaxing time on the beach.

Day 18: Ho Chi Minh City

Transfer for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City (not included). Transfer to your hotel and in the afternoon city tour to visit Reunification Palace and War Museum.

Day 19: Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy a city tour to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the central post office, the Museum of Vietnamese History and War Remnants Museum.

Day 20: Vinh Long

Drive to Vinh Long and take a motorboat to a small village to meet your host family. After lunch set off on a boat trip to meet the local people and learn about their daily life, help them in their gardens, lend a hand with the cooking and learn some delicious Vietnamese recipes. When your stomach is filled it’s time for a little Vietnamese language tuition with your host family. Enjoy the tranquil evening and watch the fire flies before calling it a night. 

Day 21: Chau Doc

Rise early and visit the floating market and see how the Delta people live and trade. Take a local boat to Can Tho. Continue to Chau Doc.

Day 22: Phnom Penh

Today you will cross another border into Cambodia. Take an express boat to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, embark on a guided city tour of the capital. At dusk walk along the bank of the Mekong to see Phnom Penh by night.

Day 23: Siem Reap

Visit the Tuol Sleng prison and the Killing Fields to learn about the terrible period of the Khemer Rouge. Return to the city for some shopping at the Russian market before a flight to Siem Reap (not included).

Day 24: Siem Reap

Visit the famous Ta Prohm temple. Continue to Prasat Kravan to see its unique brick sculptures and Srah Srang, the Royal Baths. Then explore Banteay Kdei, Thommanon and Chaosay Tevorda temples. Don’t miss Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre which have the most accomplished rose-colored sandstone carvings in Angkor.

Day 25: Siem Reap

There is no better way to explore the largest site of this ancient capital of the Khmer Empire than by bicycle. Hop on your bike and take an easy ride to enter Angkor Thom by the West Gate. Begin your mystical journey at Bayon Temple, continue to Baphuon temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch visit Angkor Wat, the most famous and best-preserved of all temples, then Bakheng Temple and enjoy the sunset from Bakheng Hill. Cool down your evening at a bustling local pub. Optional: Visit by tuk tuk.

Day 26: Bangkok

Transfer to the Cambodia-Thai border and back to Bangkok by road.

Day 27: End of Itinerary

Free time until a transfer to the airport for a flight to your next destination.
