Day 1. (Lunch, Dinner)
Vehicle will collect you between 9.00 - 10.00 am for a 3–4 hour drive from Maun to the Moremi Game reserve or Khwai area pending campsite availability at the time of booking.
Arrive in camp at lunchtime. As this is a participation safari help is required to set up your tent, shower and toilet. If a public campsite is used, then toilet facilities are provided.
Once everyone is settled and the camp is up, you depart on an afternoon game drive and return to camp just after sunset. Relax around the campfire listening to the sounds of the night. Dinner should be ready by about 8pm and it is served under the stars, listening to the wildlife.
Day 2. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Early morning wake up and breakfast. Breakfast consists of tea, coffee, juice, muesli, yogurt, fruit, muffins.
Spend the morning exploring the areas of the Moremi / Khwai areas returning to camp for lunch.
Alternatively take a picnic lunch and spend the whole day out!
Both areas offer spectacular game viewing and bird watching, including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region, and over 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered.
Have a siesta under the shade of a tree before departing for an afternoon drive.
Land and Delta meet to create an exceedingly picturesque preserve of floodplains – either seasonally or perennially wet, waterways, lagoons, pools, pans, grasslands and riparian, riverine and mopane forests. This terrain makes driving Moremi’s many loops and trails both delightful and inspiring.
Into camp for Dinner.
Day 3. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Departure day. Pack up your tent and luggage and leave for loading. Opportunity for a short game drive before departing the reserve at 11.00.
Brunch will be served en route back to Maun, arriving approximately 14.00hrs.
