14 DAY KRUGER, GARDEN ROUTE & CAPE TOWN

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT OR TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

• Upon arrival at the OR Tambo Airport you will make your way to meet your shuttle bus for your transfer to the hotel.
• After checking in the rest of your day is spent at your own leisure.

DAY 2: JOHANNESBURG TO GREATER KRUGER

• After breakfast, you check out from your hotel for your flight ( own account ) to Greater Kruger.
• A driver will be waiting at the airport to transfer you to the lodge.
• Arriving at the Lodge you are checked into your rooms and have time to freshen up before High Tea and your afternoon/sunset safari drive where you will sip a sundowner as you watch the sky turn from the brilliance of an African sunset to a bright band of stars.
• You head back to the lodge after the drive where a traditional dinner feast awaits and a blazing fire sets the perfect backdrop for tonight’s Shangaan entertainment and storytelling.

DAY 3 - 4: SAFARIS

• Experience a morning and evening safari during your stay at Lodge.
• Witness the excitement of the first rains; the terrapins playing in river pools, the call of the Pied Kingfisher, and steady chirping of sociable tree frogs.
• Guests will enjoy spectacular landscapes and an extraordinary variety of wildlife, birdlife, and plant life within the Mluwati Concession, ensuring that each safari experience will be unique.
• Savour the rich smells of the bush, hear the shrill calls of the Magpie Shrike and see the wind blowing through the feather grass dotting the savannah plains.
• All meals will be enjoyed at the lodge.

DAY 5: KRUGER TO CAPE TOWN

• The final day of your Safari will see you go on one last safari drive before returning to the lodge for a traditional breakfast. 
• After breakfast, there is time to pack before checking out and being transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight ( own account ) to Cape Town Airport.
• Arriving in Cape Town your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Cape Town.

DAY 6 - 8: CAPE TOWN

• Spend your these days exploring in and around Cape Town. There are so many things to do and guided tours can be arranged from the hotel desk or us directly.
• One of the popular things to do is to embark on a full day Cape Peninsula and Penguin Colony tour or enjoy a day of exploring the many beautiful wine farms around Cape Town.

DAY 9: CAPE TOWN - MOSSEL BAY -WILDERNESS

• We depart from Cape Town in the morning for the Garden Route.
• Our first destination is Mossel Bay, to spend some time on the spectacular beaches, hike the Cape St. Blaize trail overlooking the Indian Ocean, or visit the famous Diaz Museum complex, commemorating the first known European exploration around the tip of Africa.

• Point of Human Origins cave visit

• 2-3-hour game drive on a private game reserve

DAY 10: WILDERNESS  - PLETTENBERG BAY - KNYSNA 

• Today we visit two seaside towns at the Heart of the Garden Route, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
• This stretch of coast is known for its lovely scenery, including indigenous forest, a large warm-water estuary known as the Knysna Lagoon, and the Outeniqua Mountains.
• Enjoy a sunset cruise aboard a boat on the Knysna Lagoon.

DAY 11: KNYSNA - TSITSIKAMMA - OUDTSHOORN

• After breakfast, off to Tsitsikamma National Park. En route we will stop at Bloukrans Bridge to view the world’s highest bungee jump bridge (216 meters).
• The afternoon will be spent in Tsitsikamma National Park with its unique combination of indigenous forest and beautiful Indian Ocean coastline.
• The park has a wide choice of activities for all, including hiking, crossing a suspension bridge and swimming.

DAY 12: OUDTSHOORN - STELLENBOSCH ( VIA ROUTE 62 )

• On our final touring day, we explore Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo, known as the Ostrich Capital of the World.
• We will experience the subterranean beauty of the Cango Caves on a guided adventure tour, before we head back to Cape Town via the scenic and spectacular Route 62, South Africa’s longest wine route.
• We will arrive back in Cape Town in the early evening.
• After checking into your room the rest of the evening is spent at your own leisure.

DAY 13: STELLENBOSCH

• After breakfast you can spend the day at your own leisure.
• Explore the beautifull town of Stellenbosch or relax and enjoy the activities offered onsite.

DAY 14: DEPARTURE DAY

• After a leisurely breakfast, you can pack and check out from the hotel for your transfer to Cape Town Airport.
