Day 1
Guests will board a scheduled flight from Maun to Xakanaxa Airstrip in Moremi Game Reserve, where they will connect with a short game drive from the airstrip to Xakanaxa Boat Station. Arrive at the boat station where your guide from Xobega Island Camp will pick you up in a motorboat. Climb aboard and enjoy the 1.5 hour boat cruise through the Delta waterways to Xobega Island.
Arrive to welcome drinks and receive a briefing by the camp host before being shown to your classic canvas safari tent under the trees.
After some refreshments it’s time for a sunset boat cruise.
Your guide will pack a cooler box with your choice of drinks and you will depart the island and cruise into the sunset.
Enjoy the Delta’s beauty and birdlife for a couple of hours before returning to camp for dinner and your first night on Xobega Island.

Day 2
Early wake up call followed by coffee and breakfast in the dining tent. After breakfast you will depart for a long boat cruise through the Okavango Delta, gliding through the channels in between a myriad of islands.
Remember your camera and sun block, as you will be out on the water until late morning.
Upon returning to camp, you are welcome to have a warm bucket shower and refresh before lunch is served in the dining tent. Sit down and enjoy a good meal, followed by an afternoon siesta, or a spot of birdwatching on the island.
High tea is served later in the afternoon and a sunset cruise complete with sundowners awaits to end the day. After your sunset cruise, return to camp to enjoy the campfire and a 3-course dinner before tuning in for your last night on Xobega Island.

Day 3
Early morning wake up, followed by breakfast and your departure from Xobega Island Camp. Enjoy the 1.5 hour boat cruise from Xobega Island back to Xakanaxa boat station where you will connect with a game viewer to transfer you to Xakanaxa Airstrip, only a short drive away. Here you will connect with your light air transfer out of Moremi to Motswiri Airstrip in the Selinda Reserve.
Here, you will be met by your guide from RAW Botswana and climb aboard the game viewer for the last distance to camp. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshment and settle into your room before departing on an afternoon game drive with sundowners.
The evening brings a convivial night around the campfire overlooking the Selinda Spillway, followed by a 3-course dinner.

Day 4
Wake up before dawn to enjoy a light breakfast of coffee heated up on the fire, cereal and toast, before heading out into the Selinda Reserve on foot for an awe-inspiring walking safari led by an experienced and passionate trails guide. After a few hours out in the bush, examining animal tracks and signs, encountering wildlife, and enjoying photographic opportunities, or perhaps a swim in the fresh water of the Spillway, guests return to camp for lunch.
A relaxed afternoon at camp is a welcome way to spend the day before embarking on an afternoon game drive with sundowners in the bush.

Day 5
Early morning wake up, followed by breakfast and your final game drive in Selinda, which will end at Motswiri Airstrip where you will connect with a scheduled flight to either Maun or Kasane.
