Day 1: Denali National Park

Transfer from Anchorage International Airport to the chalet via road transfer to Talkeetna, and by helicopter from Talkeetna to the chalet. Or opt to transfer via helicopter from Anchorage. 

On arrival you will have refreshments and an orientation chat. Have a curated dinner followed by time spent on the observation deck for geophysical and astro-viewing. 

Day 2: Denali National Park

Start the day off with your breakfast to order while looking out picture windows at your surroundings. 

Today you'll start off with "glacier school" to prepare for exploring the glacier via snowshoe, cross country skiing or cave exploration. 

You will have a picnic on the glacier for lunch.

This evening take a sauna and relax before dinner. After dinner wait for the aurora borealis to light up the sky!

Day 3: Denali National Park

Today snowshoe to the Historic Mountain House, built by Don Sheldon after whom this area is named. The mountain house set the blue print for the chalet you are staying in, and acted as an explorer's hut for many years with just the basic amenities to sleep and eat. 

This afternoon take more glacier explorations.

Day 4: Denali National Park

Weather allowing, take a fixed wing flight tour to get views of the highest peak in the United States, Denali standing at 20,310'! Denali is the third most prominent and third most isolated peak on Earth, after Mount Everest and Aconcagua. The mountain is an impressive site unto itself, and is surrounded by vast Alaskan wilderness. Five large glaciers flow off the slopes of the mountain. It is surrounded by many other peaks towering over 14,000'. 

Day 5: End of Itinerary

Today you bid farewell to your staff and guides and start with your heli transfer back to Anchorage for your flight home.
