A glimpse of everyday life in Thailand can be seen at the Damnern Saduak floating market. An exhilarating narrow long-tailed speedboat ride through the marshes and stilt housed prepares you for this unique market.

Thai style canoes laden with colorful fruits, vegetables, sweets and meats gently ply their way through the canal.

Day 3: Bangkok

This is a “must see” for all visitors to Bangkok. The Grand Palace complex, which includes the Temple of the Emerald Buddha ( Wat Phra Keow ) is unquestionably one of the wonders of the world today. Within its enormous ground is the most exotic Buddhist temple and at the heart of the temple itself is a fabulous Buddha image, carved from one piece of Jade, which is the holies and most revered of religious objects in Thailand today.

Nearby is the Grand Palace, once the official home for the King of Siam built in traditional Thai architecture mixed with European designs. You can also see the Royal Funeral Hall and the Royal Coronation Hall.

HALF-DAY CHIANG MAI LIFSTYLE (3HOURS)                                                                                                       

                            

This trip is gentle way to see the lives of the Chiang Mai people.

 

Leave hotel to Wat Chai Mongkol where you start cruising through rural Mae Ping River by long-tail boat for 30minutes.  Softly moving along th river, you will see wooden houses and modern residences with colourful scenery and lifestyle of the local people.  Arrive at a local farm house where you can take a leisurely stoll around the grounds.  Continue on to Waroros Market, to see and feel the real northern people’s way of life and much more.  To get a real feel for things, we take a tricycle ride along the main road to the old city.  Then comes to the main temple in town named Wat Prasingh (A.D1345), housing a very old and sacred Buddha image, Phra Singh, for a visit.  This temple contains supreme examples of Lanna art at Viharn Lai Kham,which was build to house Phra Singh image entroned inside.  On the inner walls of the Viharn Lai Kham are some murals of two fables.

  

Day 6: Chiang Mai

Patara Elephant Farm invites you to hands-on experience on participating, sharing responsibilities and taking care of an elephant."Elephant Owner for a Day" is a special program created for everyone to learn and interact with elepahnts as what an owner would do daily,during which time you are trained to approach your elephant correctly, know the elephant's temperament, feed and check its health, learn about and take care of your own elephant, bathe and brush it in the river, learn how to ride on its neck, and communicate through different spoken commands. You will get a chance to bare-back riding to visit forest, waterfalls or local temples. The program is

specialized and meaningful activity to create trust and relationship between you and  your elephant Itinerary :

07:30-07:45  Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Patara Elephant Farm.

                        Briefing on history of domestic elephant in Thailand.

08:30-09:00   Arrive at the farm. Make registration.  Get change to our traing outfit. 

                        Prepare for traing.

09:00              Training session includes, hiking to find the elephant in the bush.  Lean about elephant farm                          management and our breeding program. Train to approach and be near elephant.  Learn to                         observe elephant temperament introducting to every of our elephants.  Morning feed.

                        Daily health care for elephant.  Pregnancy test for elephant and care taking for mother with small              

                        Baby.  

                        Learn about elephant skin care and bath your elephant.

                        Instructed training to get on the elephant nec with difference technique, sitting on the elephant,                          basic riding skill and spoken commands for elephant.  

                        Practice on getting upon and coming down from the elephant.

12:00              Bare-back riding session

13:00              Setting of for a long up hill trip to visit waterfall for picnic lunch and refreshing in the water with your                          Elephant.    Elephant riding trip back to the farm for evening feed.

14:30              Transfer back to your hotel.

FULL-DAY ANGTHONG ADVENTURE – KOH SAMUI                                                                                                                 

Discover the Angthong Marine National Park. Cruise across several of the 42 islands and enjoy the natural beauty of this untouched area.

 

After a one-hour boat ride, the first stop will be in the northern part of marine park for some snorkeling.  Continue sightseeing across the island to Mae Koh Island with its amazing Emerald Lake in the mountain.  Climb up by stairs to the viewpoint (200m) and enjoy the surrounding views over the national marine park.  Discover a laid back island with only 4villages on it away from any noise and modern development. Have a delicious ThaiLunch at the village’s only restaurant. After lunch and as a perfect finale, have a break at at quite beach.
