Day 1: Galapagos Islands

Santa Cruz Highlands: Early arrival to the airport at Baltra Island. Then you will take a bus to visit the Highlands of Santa Cruz to see the Galapagos Giant Tortoise in their natural surroundings, and also to explore the underground lava tunnels that are common at this place. After these activities you will be transferred to Eden Yacht to settle in and rest.

Day 2: Eden

Punta Suarez and Gardner Bay: Today begins with a visit to Punta Suarez on Española Island, where you can see sea lions at the dock, and colonies of nesting sea birds such as boobies and albatross. Then, head to Gardner Bay, to visit a magnificent white sand beach full of lazing sea lions and sea birds. You can also practice snorkeling in Tortuga Rock, just ahead of Gardner bay, and see various species of fishes such as king angelfish, bump head parrot fish and white tipped reef sharks. After this activity return to the yacht and dinner.

Day 3: Eden

Post Office Bay & Punta Cormorant (Floreana Island): We begin with a visit to Post Office Bay, where you can learn about its unique history, which was used as a post office by whaling vessels and pirates during the 18th century. Next to Punta Cormorant on Floreana Island, to discover two beaches, one with green sand cloured by olivine crystals, the other of white sand known as “Flour Beach”. You can observe flamingos and other shore birds here. You can also practice snorkeling at Devils Crown to spot large groups of fish, sea turtles and reef sharks. Return to the yacht and dinner.

Day 4: Eden

San Cristobal Interpretation Center, Kicker Rock & Isla Lobos: Early wakeup call to visit San Cristobal Interpretation Center, where you will learn about the history of the Galapagos Islands, its discovery, colonization, and natural history. After lunch, embark on a snorkeling adventure at Kicker Rock, named like this due to a rock that rises 150 m above the ocean’s surface and is divided into two parts by a narrow channel, where you can see an array of sharks and fish. After these activities head back to the yacht for dinner and rest.

Day 5: Eden

Santa Fe Island & South Plazas: At the beginning of the day we land on Santa Fe Island for amazing wildlife watching opportunities. You can hike towards the cliffs of this place to view the giant prickly pear cactus and land iguanas. You may take a panga ride to also spot sea turtles, sea lions, and white tipped sharks. In the afternoon we visit South Plazas, one of the smallest islands at Galapagos, with one of the largest populations of land iguanas, and various species of birds, such as red billed tropic birds, swallow-tailed gulls and also sea lions along the coast.

Day 6: End of Itinerary

Santa Cruz Island: Disembark in Puerto Ayora at Santa Cruz Island to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, to learn about the efforts of scientists, researchers and volunteers to conserve Galapagos Wildlife, and visit the breeding center to observe tortoises and land iguanas in captivity, that are at this place for conservation purposes. Then you will be transferred to Baltra airport to take your flight back to the continent.
