Day 1: Johannesburg

Arrive in beautiful South Africa!

Your South African adventure starts when arriving at the ORT International Airport in Johannesburg.

Upon arrival you will be met by our representative who will hand over your Travel Digest and transfer you to your hotel situated next to the Sandton Mall and Nelson Mandela Square.

The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and unwind after your long flight.

Day 2: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Fly to spectacular Vic Falls!

After breakfast and check out you will be transferred to the ORT Airport at around 09:30 to board your flight to Victoria Falls, the activity capital of the world. (Flight BA 6285 depart Johannesburg at 11:25 and arrive in Vic Falls at 13:05.) After a 1.5 hour flight you arrive in Victoria Falls. You will be met and transferred to your lovely hotel where you will be staying for 3 nights. Visa Fees of USD50 per person is payable at the border crossing.

AZambezi river lodge is the only hotel with a river frontage and jetty site in Victoria Falls. Imagine no more.

The lodge is situated at the Victoria falls in Zimbabwe, approximately 25km from the airport on the banks of the Zambezi river

The lodge consist of 83 thatched covered rooms, which blend in perfectly with the lush green lawns.

Day 3: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Explore the mighty falls! - Pick up at 08:05

After breakfast you will be collected at 08:05 to enjoy a Guided Tour of the Falls. Entry Fees of USD30 pp is paid direct.

Later this afternoon you will be collected from the lodge at 16:15 for your sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, Africa’s fourth longest, where you will enjoy snacks and drinks, as well as the opportunity to spot wildlife such as elephant, hippo, crocodile and magnificent birds. This is a great way to soak up the serenity of your surroundings as the sun sets over the water and day turns to night.  Entry Fees of USD10 pp is paid direct.

Day 4: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Enjoy a full day safari in Chobe National Park! Pick up at 07:05

A full day Safari package comprising a Cruise on the Chobe River and a Game Drive in the world famous Chobe National Park. Only an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, the Chobe National Park in Botswana is home to one of the largest game concentrations in Africa. Bordered by the banks of the breath-taking Chobe River, it is famous for its rich elephant and lion population. The tour departs early morning at around 07:05 from Victoria Falls where you are transferred by road for 70km to the border where your Botswana guide will meet you after immigration procedures.

Day 5: Hazyview

Fly to Nelspruit! - Pick up time 11:00

After breakfast and check out you will be transferred to the Livingston Airport to board your flight to Nelspruit. (Flight  depart Livingston at 13:45 and arrive in Nelspruit at 15:25). Upon arrival you will be met by your driver and transferred to the Hippo Hollow Lodge where you will be staying for 2 nights

Nestled amongst lush indigenous gardens on the banks of the Sabie River in Hazyview, Hippo Hollow has an "Out of Africa" feel about it, and leaves you feeling totally relaxed and refreshed.

Hippo Hollow offers stylish accommodation overlooking picturesque gardens, or the mighty Sabie River. Enjoy a variety of mouth-watering dishes, whilst watching the grazing of the Hippopotamus on the lawn against the backdrop of a sunset.

Day 6: Hazyview

Explore the breath-taking Panorama Route!

Graskop and the southernmost point of the Blyde River Canyon takes you to some of the most spectacular scenery, with breathtaking views of the Blyde River Canyon, and out over the Lowveld. Along the edge of the escarpment we take you to spectacular views, including God's Window, Wonderview and the Three Rondawels. Along the route we visit the famous Bourkes Luck Potholes - cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers.

At lunch time the tour will stop back in Graskop so that you can have lunch at a restaurant (own account), and if time permits, can spend a while browsing in local shops and the outdoor markets. Street vendors sell an amazing variety of goods – from nuts and fruit to beaded necklaces and carved wooden animals. Near Graskop, where numerous waterfalls tumble down the mountains, we will visit the beautiful Berlin Falls and Lisbon Falls on the way back to Sabie and then White River.

Day 7: Mluwati Concession

Your ultimate safari experience awaits you! Pick up at 09:30

After breakfast and check out you will be transferred to your tented safari camp where you will be staying for 2 nights.

Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.  Dinner will be enjoyed at the lodge.

Named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who played a vital role in establishing the world-famous Kruger National Park, Hamiltons Tented Camp is located on 10,000 hectares within the Kruger National Park.

Activities include twice-daily game drives, bush walks and spectacular bird-watching. Enjoy a stop for sundowners on your evening game drive while having the possibility of spotting nocturnal wildlife. Game-viewing is truly spectacular here - the Big 5, as well as a variety of other wildlife, roam the reserve.

Fly to Cape Town! Pick up at 10:30

After a final morning game drive and breakfast you check out of the lodge and transfer to the Eastgate Airport for your flight to Cape Town (2 hour flight) (Flight  depart Hoedspruit at 14:00 and arrive in Cape Town at 16:05).

Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met by a Trip.me representative and transferred to your hotel where you will be staying for 3 nights.

Day 10: Cape Town

After breakfast you enjoy a Full Day Cape Town City & Winelands Tour. Pick up at 08:30

Situated below Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Cape Town offers a rich cultural and colonial heritage, grand splendour and an assurance of activity of excitement. Including all the `must-sees ‘of any Cape Town day tour, this option is a geographical and cultural extravaganza, showing you Cape Town, from its historical beginnings of yesteryear to the dazzling modern buildings of today.

We commence with a cable car trip up the legendary Table Mountain for spectacular views of the Mother City and the surrounding peninsula. (weather permitting). Back in the city itself, we visit the  Castle of Good Hope and the colourful and picturesque Malay Quarter known as Bo-Kaap.

From Cape Town we make our way to the beautiful Cape Winelands. Highlights of the tour is a visit to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek for wine tasting and gourmet food!

Day 11: Cape Town

Meet the African penguins! Pick up at 09:00

Today, we head to the fishing village of Hout Bay. On the way, we will pass by Sea Point, Bantry Bay, and Clifton. You will also see Bakoven and Llandudno, with their ghostly shipwrecks. Take in these fantastic views even before you have reached your destination! Once you arrive in Hout Bay, you will board a boat to enjoy the view of the Cape fur seal colony on Duiker Island. From there, navigate the 114 curves of 600m-high Chapman's Peak Drive.

Afterward, explore the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park, home to fabulous birds and very special fauna. Then, climb to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the magical vistas of False Bay.

Before going back to your hotel, stop by to visit Boulders Beach to see the penguins.
