Day 1: Kalahari Namibia

WELCOME TO NAMIBIA!

The land of endless horizons awaits.
We are so happy to host you.

The vast contrasts of Namibian abstracts awaits you - submerging you into deserts, dunes, coast, traditional and wildlife impressions.

After meeting at the airport, we will depart towards the Kalahari Desert. Red dunes, in the midst of the savannah and wildlife, where the San to this day are home. But first, a stop-over in our nations Capital - Windhoek.
Enjoy some historical sights and stories of where our Namibian hustle and bustle takes place.

Day 2: Kalahari Namibia

We did mention the traditional San people in the area, right?
Today you get to visit them.

Walk to them, see their traditional lifestyle and how for thousands of years this amazing group of people have adapted and found ways in nature to survive.

Back at the lodge, you can relax and have a quick lunch, before embarking on an incredible wildlife experience ending with a cheetah surprise. Joran and Chris will really teach you a new-found respect for conservation and how we want to take care of wildlife in Namibia.

Day 3: Sesriem

After breakfast you will depart towards the Namib Rand Nature reserve. As it says, Namib rand lays against the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world.

Visit the Duwisib Castle on the way, where you will be told one of the oldest love stories in Namibia.

Arrive at your destination to relax in view of the endless horizons of the Namib.

Day 4: Sesriem

An early mornng start will take you to where the river is swallowed by the Dunes.

The Tsauchab river was once blocked off to the ocean, and with that Dead Vlei was found.
Before you do that though, climb the highest dune, Big Daddy, and then slide down the slip face.

You will visit the Sesriem Canyon, and return to the lodge in the afternoon.

This is implemented since 2022 until further notice, where the national offices are again in communication and approval of permits issued by head office, and the authenticity thereof, to avoid fraud, and not cause any problems for the client.

Day 5: Swakopmund

After breakfast, depart on your journey to the Atlantic Ocean.

Dunes, beach, ocean, and traditions within the town of Swakopmund await.

From landscapes to beach front.

Explore the traditional town of Swakopmund, and check in for some souvenirs.
Swakopmund, or Swakop as the locals call it, is known as the tourism capital of Namibia.

It is where some of the first visitors arrived in 1892 when Swakopmund was founded.

 

Day 6: Swakopmund

Camera ready? Charged?

Just keep your eyes open. There is a surprise coming. 

Do not get a fright.

The day is filled with adventure,  included in your itinerary, to make you feel a rush of adrenaline and leave you in awe of some of the biggest seal colonies. On a boat, on top of the dune, you are in for a world of surprises.

They say, the Namibian Oyster (you will pass the farm) is one of the best in the world. Let us know what you think?

Day 7: Twyfelfontein

You depart to day towards Damaraland.

Why Damaraland? It is the traditional communal land of the Damara People. You will visit a village on your way to the next camp.

Damaraland is known for the most awesome Elephant, Rhino, and Lion expeditions.
Why? Because these are desert adapted animals, that survive in conditions where you would not think it's possible.

More on that for tommorrow.

Day 8: Twyfelfontein

Keep your eyes open! You really do not always get to see them.

What are we talking about?

The Elephants of the Huab. So famous for their amazing grace, poise, and grandeur. But really, they can be very dangerous.

You will experience other wildlife (maybe Rhino? maybe Lions?) that is in this area as well.

This is another adventure day with some of the most amazing traditional landmark areas you can find.

Day 9: Etosha South

There are a few phenomenons on how or why some things are the way they are in this world.
Take the landmarks on your agenda today, if you wish to visit them. It is not a long excursion, but very intersting to see of course.

The day is spent travelling towards an iconic Namibian jewel - Etosha National Park.

You will past some interesting spots with your guide, which have some great stories.

- There is a recommended €15 on site fee to be paid to the Heritage Council that upkeep these areas. It is for a great cause in preservation. 

Day 10: Onguma Game Reserve

Departing from your lodge, you will be travelling into Etosha - Namibia's most iconic national park.

The day is an adventure of nature and wildlife in itself. 

There is not much that must be said here. Because why would we ant to spoil the surprise?

We know the best spots, and our guides will not let you down. Of course, the animals need to be let know in advance on where they need to me. ;-) Kidding. There are rangers that our guides know, which will give us some inside tipps. 

Etosha Pan

Day 11: Onguma Game Reserve

You have a day at leisure at the most amazing destination next to Etosha. Well, we consider it to be part of Etosha.

Since yesterday was spent journeying through Etosha with its adventures, maybe you want to do something else today?

Perhaps a Spa treatment? 

Or a Bush walk filled with nature and wildlife wonders? Walking among the paths where historic people wandered.

There is also the option to travel into Etosha again with the.

Your tour leader will assist you with all of this.

Today we bid farewell, yet as the saying goes:

Goodbye is never something that we enjoy, but it is part of a journey and holiday. We trust that we have given you a positive insight into our land of dreams - and will be looking forward to welcoming you again.

Before your departure, you will however still drive past the biggest Meteor which fell a long time ago, and stop over at the Crocodile farm for Lunch,  or the Cheetah Conservation Centre, which you can discuss with your Guide. What about the Africat foundation?

All of these will leave you with a feeling of inclusivity.

You are no longer a tourist - you have become our guest, you are part of our tribe!
