Day 1: Arrive in Maun, and fly to Sable Alley, Khwai Private Reserve
Your first day on safari is always a good one, and when you arrive in Khwai Private Reserve, you won’t be disappointed. Leap into action on a game drive, or settle into your surroundings with a crisp G&T in camp as the sun goes down.
Day 2: Sable Alley, Khwai Private Reserve
Game drive along the Khwai River, watching the comings and goings of the wildlife, or lace up your walking boots and explore the reserve on two feet.
Day 3: Drive to Skybeds, Khwai Private Reserve
There’s not much that beats sleeping atop a five-metre platform, hippo splashing below, and giraffe peering in at you from the trees. Tonight’s your chance to see what all the fuss is about, at our fabulous Skybeds.
Day 4: Drive to Sable Alley, Khwai Private Reserve
Leave your treehouse behind, and try out Sable Alley for size. If you really can’t bear to drag yourself away from the Skybeds, there’s also an option to stay for a second night. Today’s the day to try everything you haven’t had time for; a walking safari or a night drive perhaps, or maybe another game drive (or two)?
Day 5: Fly to Maun and depart
Rise with the sun and squeeze in one last morning activity in Khwai, before flying back to Maun for your onward flight.
