Day 1: Melbourne

Today you arrive in Melbourne, where your private driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or start to explore the city on your own.

Day 2: Melbourne

Today, your guide picks you up at your hotel for a private tour of the city. With its Victorian architecture, stunning gardens and edgy bar, culinary, fashion and live music scenes, Melbourne is an obvious start to any visit to Victoria. Its iconic laneways and alleys are home to some of the city’s best cafes, bars, boutiques and galleries. Explore these with your private guide, getting a real insight into what makes this cosmopolitan city tick. Recognised as the sporting capital of Australia you will visit sporting areas including the famous M.C.G, Melbourne Park and Albert Park Grand Prix circuit. Enjoy a stroll in the Royal Botanic Gardens and Tour the Shrine of Remembrance. Visit bayside areas including St Kilda (Melbourne’s summer playground) and take a walk along the beach-side promenade. You may want to include in your half day tour the Yarra River, The Golden Mile, Royal Exhibition Building, Parliament House and the Fitzroy Gardens. Day 4: Alice Springs

Today enjoy a private guided tour of Alice Springs. This ruggedly beautiful town is shaped by its mythical landscapes, vibrant Aboriginal culture and tough pioneering past. The town is a natural base for exploring central Australia. The mesmerizing MacDonnell Ranges stretch east and west from the town centre, and you don't have to venture far to find yourself among ochre-red gorges, pastel-hued hills and ghostly white gum trees. This full day tour includes some of the most spectacular scenery unique to Central Australia before exploring the town itself. Marvel at towering fiery red walls set aglow by the desert sun before returning to Alice Springs. A picnic lunch is included. Spend a delightful afternoon exploring 'A Town Like Alice' in the heart of Central Australia, beginning with panoramic views from ANZAC Hill overlooking the township and surrounding mountain ranges. Return to the hotel at the end of the day.

Private transfer from the hotel to Alice Springs airport, where you will board your flight to Cairns (not included). You will be met and transported to your hotel by private car. Rest of the day to explore or relax.

Day 6: Cairns

This morning meet your guide and your driver at your hotel for the transfer to Freshwater Station for your journey on the Kuranda Scenic Rail to Kuranda. The Royale Service has been booked for you and includes a glass of South Australian sparkling wine or orange juice, locally grown macadamia nuts, a souvenir postcard and badge. The train departs Freshwater Station and takes a leisurely one and a half hours to wind through dense tropical forests, past majestic waterfalls and high over seemingly bottomless ravines. On arrival in Kuranda stroll over to the village and enjoy time at leisure to explore on foot. In Kurunda, board Skyrail to reach Caravonica Lakes, the world’s longest gondola which glides just metres above Far North Queensland’s Heritage Rainforest. Traveling at tree top level you become totally immersed in this unique environment; see, hear, smell and become a part of the tropical rainforest environment. You have the opportunity to stop and explore at two stations. At Red Peak Station explore the rainforest floor along boardwalks. At Barron Falls Station features the Rainforest Interpretative Centre and views of the spectacular Gorge and Falls.At the final stop, Skyrail Terminal at Caravonica Lakes you find the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park where you enter a magical, mystical world. As well as the spectacle of the dance theatre for which Tjapukai has become famous, there are other fascinating insights into bush food, traditional medicine, boomerang and spear throwing. Meet your driver there for the transfer from Tjapukai Cultural Centre back to your hotel in Cairns.

Day 7: Cairns

Alongside Cairns is a magnificent tidal estuary that is rarely seen, except by fishermen. Today, you will have the opportunity to visit it. You will be picked-up at your hotel for your harbour cruise. Only accessible by boat, M.V. Crocodile Explorer is a comfortable, air-conditioned vessel taking small numbers of visitors along Trinity Inlet on this scenic nature cruise. With waterways winding through a 300 square kilometre maze of mangroves, expect rich diverse wildlife, stunning scenery and a relaxing cruise with informative commentary from the crew. This is the saltwater crocodile’s natural habitat - with a chance to spot them basking on the muddy banks, particularly in the cooler months.

Private transfer from your hotel in Cairns to take your flight to Sydney (not included). At Sydney, you will be met by your private car and driver and taken to your hotel where the rest of the day is free for you to relax.

Day 9: Sydney

You’ll be picked up at your hotel for an unforgettable small group tour of Sydney. On the tour you’ll visit the historic Rocks area and hear early convict history, enjoy magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, see the shopping heart of the city, QVB, Centrepoint and visit Sydney’s trendy new district Oxford Street. Then travel through elegant Paddington with its terrace houses before arriving at the Pacific Ocean. See the superb coast cliff walk around Tamarama and Bronte. Travel on to famous Bondi Beach. Visit the beachfront promenade, enjoy a coffee or cool drink (at own cost). See bronzed Aussie lifeguards and Sydney’s best panoramic view at Dover Heights.

Return to Sydney via Double Bay, Kings Cross and Mrs Macquarie’s Point for a final magical viewpoint over the harbour before returning to the city centre. You will be dropped off at the Sydney Opera House where you will join the Opera House tour. Day 10: Sydney

Travelling north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge your first stop is at the Australia Reptile Park, to enjoy exclusive morning tea/coffee with native Australian Animals. Your next visit is to Mt View Estate, home to two of the oldest vineyards in the picturesque Mount View region. You will enjoy an exclusive Wine and Cheese tasting. Next is Brokenwood Wines home of premium grapes, from the Graveyard Shiraz to the Cricket Pitch Sauvignon Blanc Semillon and Cricket Pitch Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot. Lunch amongst the vines while enjoying a relaxing 2 course lunch with a selection of share food platters, glass of red and white wine, and a choice of desserts with a dessert wine. After lunch, consider a Wine Theatre production or additional Wine or Beer Tasting, or relax and chat with fellow guests and your guide, the choice is yours, before returning to Sydney.
