Arrival to Bogota.
We take a tour of Candelaria, the city's historic center with its colorful houses and colonial architecture. We also explore Plaza Mayor, Capitolio, Cathedral Primada, and La casa Nariño. After lunch, we will visit the Gold Museum, with its huge collection of antique gold objects, as well as the Botero Foundation, which showcases the paintings and sculptures of famous Colombian artists.
Transfer to Villa de Leyva with stop at Zipaquira where we visit the salt cathedral. After arrival, we take a guided tour and learn about the history of the city and discover its architectural treasures, such as the Plaza Mayor, its cafes and craft shops.
We visit the Muisca Observatory and the Paleontological Museum. After lunch, we go to Ráquira, a traditional craft village where you will have the opportunity to visit typical shops and see craftsmen working.
Transfer to Barichara. The road passes through the heart of the Colombian Andes and offers beautiful views of the mountains and Chicamocha Canyon. After arrival, we take a guided tour in the historic center of Barichara, which has retained all its charm with its small streets, stone houses and craft shops.
Trip to the small village of Guané. In the afternoon we continue exploring Barichara.
Transfer to Mesa de Los Santos with a stop at Hacienda el Roble for a coffee tour, where you will learn the process from harvest to cup.
Flights Bucaramanga - Cartagena. Free time to walk along the small streets of the historic city center.
We visit Claver San Pedro Monastery, the Inquisition Palace, the cathedral and the colonial houses along the streets of the historic center. In the afternoon we head to Cerro de la Popa, where we enjoy the beautiful views of the city, the sea and the islands of Tierra Bomba and Boquilla. We also visit Popa's Monastery and Castillo de San Felipe Castle.
Free day. Towards the end of the afternoon, we visit the fishing village of Boquilla where we can go canoeing in the mangrove swamp Cienega la Virgen.
Return to Bogota for a return trip.
