The visit to an old sugar cane mill built at the end of the 19th century, which has its heritage protected by law, now houses several descendants of slaves, constituting the Fazenda quilombola community, who live and preserve their traditions in this area. The cassava flour house, as it is known and recognized, uses an original water mill for the production of cassava flour.

There are also two trails, one to the wonderful bathing well and the other to the banks of the crystalline river, where we can observe the use of water as a driving force that moves the large water wheel and other craft equipment such as cassava peelers and grinders, to make flour. After the walk, we can optionally enjoy a lunch based on traditional quilombola cuisine in the environment of Casa da Farinha.
