The trekking to Brava da Almada beach starts at the Almada beach, one of the last beaches at the north side of Ubatuba. The region is amazingly beautiful, almost without human intervention and a preserved Atlantic forest. From the beach of Almada we head to the Engenho beach, from where the trail begins. It is a relatively short trail, lasting about 1 hour, at 2 km long walk with some small slopes. The Brava da Almada is rarely visited, especially by surfers and ecotourists. Returning from the trail, we have the option of a caiçara lunch in the rustic kiosks at the Almada beach, with one of the most fantastic views of Ubatuba’s sunset.
