The starting point of this itinerary is the Banana Bamboo Ecolodge at Ubatumirim Beach. In this way we can experience an agroforestry system, a system of sustainable management. We continue our journey through plantations of manioc and banana, as well as houses made of the “pau a pique” technique, a sustainable method of construction peculiar to the caiçaras inhabitants of the region. Amidst the Atlantic forest, we arrive at the Trombador waterfall.
The Trombador Waterfall is one of the Ubatuba’s most beautiful waterfalls of Ubatuba, located in the backwoods of Ubatumirim, a neighborhood that still preserves the caiçara native culture and its stories.
After this intense contact with the wild forest, we return to the Banana Bamboo Ecolodge for an ecogastronomic experience, with a menu based on unconventional food plants, local and seasonal ingredients.
