Maruku Arts Dot Painting Workshop offers a fun way of learning and understanding the local indigenous art of the Anangu people. The workshops are held outdoors, under shelter at Yulara Town Square. The hour-and-a-half-long workshops are guided by a local Anangu artist and an interpreter. Participants will learn about ancient symbols used in Anangu art and teachings, as well as some introductory words in the local language of the Anangu. Each participant will have the opportunity to create and share their own dot-artwork to take home as a memento.
