Walvis Bay's Pelican Point Kayaking is an excellent way to spend a morning. Safaris depart usually after breakfast. Upon arrival, you will be met by a Land Rover and taken to Pelican Point. There are several sea kayaks available for you to use, and you will be guided to three colonies of cape fur seals. The seals enjoy playing around the kayaks, jumping and sometimes even landing on them! Dolphins can also be seen here, along with flocks of gulls and cormorants. While on the beach, brötchen (rolls) and coffee are available. Kayaking experience is not necessary as this is a very gentle trip.
