Moremi Game Reserve is the oldest and first protected reserve in the Okavango Delta. Located in the central-eastern Delta, land and wetland meet in a rare combination of floodplains, waterways, lagoons, pools, pans, grasslands, and forests. Due to this diversity, you can expect to see a diverse range of wildlife, as well as over 400 bird species in the reserve. While game viewing peaks between July and October, when seasonal pans dry up and wildlife flocks to the reserve’s permanent water, game viewing is excellent year-round.
