The Tarabita just outside Mindo was built to help travelers admire the forests of the Nambillo Ecological Reserve soaring 150 meters above ground. At this attraction, a brief cable car ride takes you above the breathtaking scenery, allowing you to shorten the walking time to entrance of the waterfalls.
On the other side you have a choice of different hiking paths through the forrest to admire the waterfalls. The Nambillo waterfall is also great for swimming. The Reina Waterfalls takes an hour walk to reach through virgin forest and is the best of all waterfalls.
The Tarabita charges a small fee to take the cable car which is paid directly at the entrance.
