Kuranda Koala Gardens is Kuranda's newest wildlife attraction. Situated in the heart of Kuranda, this attraction gives visitors the opportunity to see some of Australia's most unique wildlife up close. There are lots of opportunities to observe koalas doing what they do best; eating, sleeping and looking adorable.
Visitors can take the opportunity to cuddle a koala, Kuranda Koala Gardens is one of only a handful of places in the world where visitors can actually interact with a koala. Adherence to a strict "Government Code Of Practice" ensures the health and well-being of the furry friends.

All this right in Kuranda Village markets. A courtesy bus runs every few minutes from the Kuranda Train and Skyrail terminals to the village, or it is only a 10-minute walk from the Train and Skyrail Station.
