At the top of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, on one of the oldest mountains in the world - approximately 600-million years, and the only one situated in an urban area, is the Table Mountain Café. Both the mountain and the café provide stunning 360° aerial views of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. Nearly 800 000 visitors a year come to share the views with the world's highest concentration of Peregrine Falcons living in the Table Mountain National Park. Wheelchair ramps, elevators and routes as well as paved pathways at the summit, make this experience completely accessible for visitors in wheelchairs. Table Mountain is famous for the tablecloth of cloud often covering the 3km wide flat plateau. While the mountain lays a tablecloth for guests, so does the Table Mountain Café. Being an integral part one of the Natural Wonders of the World, the Café is committed to having as little a carbon footprint as possible. Compostable plates, cups and containers for food and beverage, help the Café reduce their dependence on water.

The Table Mountain Café’s tasty menu items, including specials and combos, are regularly updated to keep things as amazing as the views. There is also Wi-Fi!

In case visitors are too hungry to wait for the 360o rotating aerial cable car to whisk them to the top of Table Mountain, snacks such as hot pies, fresh sandwiches, and hot and cold beverages are available at the Table Mountain Kiosk, next to the ticket office at the Lower Cable Station. There, the Ice Cream Kiosk also offers refreshment for those sweltering days in which Cape Town can often indulge, including lollies and soft-serve ice creams.
