The Kigali Genocide Memorial and Museum was created as a joint partnership between the Kigali City Council and the UK-based Aegis Trust. It is situated in the Gasabo district approximately 3 km from the city centre. Easily accessible, the Kigali Genocide Memorial is the best known and most visited site in Rwanda.
