Olifantsbos Beach is a small, sandy beach and rocky point situated on the western side of the Cape Point Nature Reserve in Cape Town, Western Cape. It’s a rural and somewhat magical place with numerous hiking trails and beach walks on offer. The beautiful Shipwreck Trail and Sirkelsvlei Walk are both highly recommended.
The beach is a great picnic spot with green lawns, clean ablution facilities, and plenty of parking. The rocky points offer a variety of fascinating marine life to explore. It is a surfer’s paradise where the south easterly wind creates a wonderful swell, ideal for riding into shore at the right point break.
