The experienced Muay Thai trainers will work with guests individually based on their abilities and fitness levels.
The Siam has integrated an ancient Thai tradition with the opening of a specially consecrated space devoted to the inking of sacred tattoos. Yant is a traditional form of tattooing magical ancient geometric and deity symbols with Buddhist prayers onto the body. These yants impart magical powers of luck, protection, charisma, and fortune onto the wearer. Ajarn Boo, the in-house tattoo artist inks all tattoos by hand using traditional khem. Ajarn’s recommendation is to begin with a simple Hah Taew (5 Line Yant) or Gao Yord (9 Line Yant) to ensure that guests can handle the nature of the experience.
Guests at The Siam are just a short luxury cruise boat ride away from all of Bangkok’s riverside attractions. With both open air and air-conditioned seating available, there is no better way to get around Bangkok.
Guests can make the most of The Siam’s riverside location and marvel at the splendour of sunset by spending a quiet afternoon with a cocktail or two on the private pier. Featuring a spacious, fixed wooden deck and a floating pontoon for private mooring, this stunning spot over the Chao Praya is safely fenced and glows by lamplight at night.
Chon is the Thai word for spoon, their very own symbol of service, dining and sharing. At The Siam’s signature Thai restaurant and cooking school, guests will be served a truly, local meal while enjoying some fascinating history. Set within a cluster of three, century-old Thai teakwood houses which were once part of antique dealer and OSS agent Connie Mangksau’s home, this hallowed venue entertained global glitterati the likes of Jackie Kennedy, John Rockefeller, Roger Moore, William Holden and Henry Ford to name but a few.
