Comprising the Old Mission Church, Joubert House, and the KWV Building Complex, the Montagu Museum is an integral part of Montagu's architectural legacy. Since its 1975 inception in the Old Mission Church, the building hosts administrative offices, a research centre, and permanent exhibits like pulpit Bibles, church artefacts, and the T.O. Honiball cartoon collection. In 2005, the museum marked its 30th anniversary with "Montagu and its People" and a historic wedding dress parade. The Old Mission Church celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2007, with an adjoining archive serving as a crucial research centre containing historical documents and photos.
