In northern Zimbabwe, lies Lake Kariba. Situated between Zimbabwe and Zambia, it is the second-largest man-made lake in Africa and was formed when the Zambezi River was dammed at Kariba Gorge in the 1950s. This area is rich in wildlife thanks to its ready supply of regenerative grasses and abundant water. Here you’ll find buffalo, waterbuck, zebra, impala, and the predators that hunt them.
