Valley of the Queens is a historical site located at the southern end of the Theban hillside in Luxor, Egypt. What makes this place unique is its collection of at least 75 tombs belonging to queens of the 19th and 20th dynasties, as well as other royal family members. Travellers can explore four of these tombs, including the famous tomb of Nefertari, which was reopened to the public in late 2016. Visitors can admire the well-preserved site and learn about the rich history of ancient Egyptian royalty.
