A contemplative tour that takes place on a 970-meter contemplation trail, with two viewpoints and that lasts about an hour, where visitors can observe the vagaries of nature, hear the call of the birds echoing in the rocky walls that constitute an ideal shelter for red macaws. At the right time of the year, the aroma of flowers and fruits of the Brazilian savannah, like the "guavira" will also be part of this sensory experience. Buraco das Araras is a doline, geological formation resulting from the collapse of boulders creating this huge cavity: it is 500m in circumference and 100 meters deep.  At the bottom of the hole, a pond of green water surrounded by lush forest, home to alligators whose survival remains a mystery. Besides alligators and macaws, mammals such as the armadillo, the anteater, the agouti and other 120 species of birds including toucans, have chosen the place to live. The reception area features a bar, souvenir shop, bathrooms, and hammock area.

*Recommended to bring binoculars (not included).
**It is a natural environment activity, so it is not possible to determine the best time to see Macaws or other animals. From May to December is the breeding period for birds, so they remain more active in the RPPN area.
