In the Recanto Ecologico Rio da Prata a gentle stream leads visitor quietly for a ride on a fantastic underwater world, inhabited by dozens of species of fish and aquatic plants. You'll find yourself surrounded by several species of fish in the Pantanal, besides spotting other species of animals and birds (more than 200 on the records).
The tour begins with an interpretive trail of approximately 600 meters through the forest until reaching the deck where the training takes place and the floating begins. The first section covers 1,650 meters along the source of the Olho d' Água river. During the journey, participants can float through resurgences (springs that feed the river), observing a wide variety of fish species and rich aquatic vegetation. Until reaching the meeting point with the Prata River, the final 600-meter stretch can be done either floating or aboard an electric motorboat, depending on the conditions of the Prata River. In rainy periods, the last 600 meters are done by trail. The reception area features a restaurant, bar, souvenir shop, bathrooms, hammock area, and seedling nursery.
