Ravana Ella, located near Ella in the Uva Province of Sri Lanka, is a waterfall set within a lush, mountainous landscape. Visitors can admire the cascading water, take photographs, enjoy a refreshing swim, or simply admire the surrounding scenery, while also exploring nearby attractions such as the Ravana Cave and Temple. The site is notable for its height of approximately 25 metres, for being one of the widest waterfalls in the country, and for its strong association with the Ramayana legend, where King Ravana is believed to have hidden Princess Sita behind the falls, adding cultural and mythological significance to this natural attraction.
