McGuigan Wines in the heart of the Hunter Valley was founded by Owen McGuigan around 1880. He was the first McGuigan to venture into this exciting new endeavour, and, from those early days, successive generations of the McGuigan family have been at the forefront of the Australian wine industry helping to shape some of Australia’s greatest brands.

Visitors are guided through fun and informative tours of the winery and can also enjoy tastings in the specially designed group tasting area. There are also private tasting rooms for members and guests. While at McGuigan, Hunter Valley visitors can also experience the delights of the Hunter Valley Cheese Company where they will be able to enjoy the full cheese experience from sampling the great range to seeing how each cheese is handcrafted in the make and maturation rooms.
