Escadaria Selarón, also known as the Selarón Steps, is a renowned landmark in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Created by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón, the steps are located in the Lapa and Santa Teresa neighbourhoods. The staircase features 215 steps covered in over 2,000 tiles from more than 60 countries. Tourists visit Escadaria Selarón to admire its vibrant and unique artwork, which includes hand-painted tiles by Selarón himself.
