Ta Prohm is a Buddhist temple located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was built in the late 12th and early 13th century and was founded by Khmer King Jayavarman VII as a Mahayana Buddhist monastery and university. The design of the temple is flat and it has five rectangular enclosing walls which surround a central sanctuary, and it faces the east. Access to the temple is only possible through the east and west entrances.
