Located in Seville, Spain, La Giralda is the bell tower of the Seville Cathedral. The tower was built as a minaret for the Great Mosque of Seville during the rule of the Almohad dynasty. With a height of 104.1 metres, the tower features a Renaissance-style top. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 and it continues to be one of the most important symbols of Seville.
