In the Khwai Concession, water, wildlife and wilderness converge in one of Botswana’s most vital ecological corridors, where every season reveals a new rhythm. Fifteen safari suites overlook the Khwai River, each with an en-suite bathroom and private outdoor deck. At the heart of lodge, communal dining reflects a culture of connection, conversation and generosity. The well-stocked bar, indoor lounges, viewing areas, spa and swimming pool offer spaces to pause, while the open-air fire deck draws guests together beside the river for stories, stargazing and the quiet rituals of beginning and ending each day.
From the lodge, the wilderness invites exploration. Game drives and night drives, *seasonal mokoro journeys, exceptional birding, stargazing and *scenic helicopter flights offer different ways to experience this remarkably diverse landscape. Sediba Sa Rona has one inter-leading Luxury Family Tent, with two en suite bedrooms and separate viewing decks showcasing the Khwai River. One room is a king configuration and the second room is a twin (an alternative configuration for the twin room can be arranged on request).

Sediba Sa Rona has 15 Safari Suites in total, two of which can be booked as interleading. The lodge can accommodate up to 30 guests. All tents overlook the Khwai River, have en suite bathrooms and private viewing decks.

Game Drives, Helicopter Scenic Flights, Night Drives
Explore the concession in search of big game such as elephants, wild dogs and cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Game drives depart twice daily in the morning and afternoon. Night drives in the concession can be requested in place of or in addition to afternoon drives and depart after dinner. Optional day trips into Moremi Game Reserve are available on request (strictly no night drives in Moremi Game Reserve).

For a perspective of Khwai and its stunning surroundings from above, embark on a scenic helicopter flight.
Glide over lace-like canopies, meandering waterways, and larger-than-life game such as elephants, buffalo, and hippos. This doors-off experience offers uninterrupted views, making it a dream for photographers. Birding is out of this world year-round with stunning feathered residents, such as kingfishers (including Pied, Malachite, Giant, Woodland, and Mangrove), African fish eagles and African jacanas. Avid birder or curious novice, seeing a highly elusive Pel’s fishing owl is a special opportunity and, if spotted, is a special moment to cherish. Explore the Khwai River’s shallower channels and floodplains by mokoro (a traditional dugout canoe, expertly polled by the incredible Desert & Delta Safaris guides). This is a stunning way to slow down and absorb nature’s marvellous lesser-known inhabitants, which may surprise as big highlights—from reed frogs to water lilies and the mysterious sitatunga antelope.
