This birding excursion starts at the Kuiseb Delta where dune larks can be seen. From the delta, the excursion moves to the Walvis Bay Lagoon and salt pans. The lagoon is home to thousands of wetland species. The salt pans near Swakopmund and the surrounding desert plains are the final stop on this birding excursion. The focus of this excursion will be on looking for Gray’s larks, Orange River white-eyes, Tractrac chats, and the only true Namibian endemic, the dune lark.
