Known as the sunrise camp, this safari hideaway offers views that stretch over sweeping plains to the shores of Lake Burunge — and the distant Babati Mountain Range, which frames the horizon. Here, refined accommodation, premium facilities (including a spa and pool), exceptional dining, and unforgettable moments in nature converge. Embodying vintage-style safari sophistication down to the smallest detail, the camp —which is unfenced — offers a true immersion in the wilderness without compromising modern comforts. Sleeping a total of 14 guests, the camp comprises 6 tented rooms, including 1 family suite.

Known as the sunrise camp, Little Chem Chem lies on the eastern side of the concession. This intimate camp offers five elegantly decorated vintage tents, each with a large bedroom (three have king-size beds, two offer twin beds), with a rocking chair and study desk, a vanity area with dressing room and an en suite bathroom with a shower and flushing toilet.
Embracing an ‘Out-of-Africa’ atmosphere, each tent also offers a private fire pit with flames that seduce you as the sounds of an African night come to life all around to you.

A two-bedroom canvased family tent perfect for families of up to 2 adults and 3 children.
Luxuriously fitted with a large king size bed in the main bedroom, while the children's room offers 2 twin beds. Each room has its own vanity area with dressing room, and en-suite shower and flushing toilet.

Explore the game-rich environment of the breathtaking Tarangire National Park from the comfort of an open 4x4.
To visit Tarangire, choose either a full- or half-day excursion which includes a picnic breakfast or lunch at a private site. Expect vast elephant herds and huge baobabs.
One of the well-trained field guides will lead you in a quest to recognise and track animal spoor. You will literally follow in their footsteps – often taking you within 15 meters of these majestic animals. Hear them, see them, smell them.
Visit one of the schools supported by the Chem Chem Association. Join in an impromptu soccer game with the children, share African songs and dance with them. You can even teach a math, geography or English lesson. Learn from them as they learn from you.
Little Chem Chem welcomes children from 8 years old.
The team will create unforgettable memories by learning bush skills from Maasai warriors: how to make a fire, use a bow and arrow, throw a spear. A visit to local schools and villages will expose them to different cultures. Children can build a recyclable soccer ball, follow wildlife tracks and decorate safari-themed cupcakes.
Wake to sunrise and fresh coffee with one of Little Chem Chem's renowned seed biscuits, enjoy breakfast with a view of the watering hole, savour lunch in the dappled shade of the trees and relax over dinner surrounded by the sounds of the Arican bush.
The evening can be as private as you like or more convivial with other guests. Feel the whisper of the evening breeze as you eat beneath the stars.
