House of Opium is located in the Golden Circle, Thailand. The museum was established in 1990 by Patcharee Srimatyakul. Visitors can view a variety of opium memorabilia and paraphernalia which include tools used for planting and harvesting, pipes, scales, weights, scrapers and knives. A range of photographs can be viewed too, which displays the history of the opium trade in Thailand. The museum is open to visitors from 07:00 to 18:00 daily.
