Feeling adventurous? Then join us on an authentic African adventure that takes you deep into the heart of the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural wonder of epic proportions. From the low vantage point of a dugout canoe – known locally as a mokoro – you’ll experience a local tradition that has defined the way safaris are run in the Okavango Delta. Accompanied by polers, who share their local heritage and in-depth knowledge of the area and its flora and fauna, you will enjoy a privileged insight into this otherwise inaccessible wilderness.

Our mokoro trails into the Okavango Delta range from a half-day excursion up to five nights camping out under the vast African sky. As you explore the idyllic channels, lagoons and remote islands, our knowledgeable guides share insight into the wild and wonderful world around you. The guides have a wealth of knowledge of the area and eagerly share the stories of their people and related folk-tales. Their first-hand experience of the area’s wildlife is an incredible gift they readily share, as they pole along the unspoiled waterways.
