Guests of the Canyon Village have a variety of guided activities at their disposal to make their stay varied. A hiking trail leads from the lodge up to a mountain plateau. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the vast plains next to the canyon. This hike is not guided and takes between two and three hours.

The highlight is the canyon trip, where you are taken to the two most important viewpoints along the Fish River Canyon. Your guide will tell you all about the fascinating geology of the canyon. Refreshments, small snacks and park entrance fees are included. This activity lasts around three hours.

You will experience unforgettable scenic impressions on the approximately 3-hour drive to the Fish River Canyon at sunset. On the way you will learn interesting details about the geology, flora and fauna of the Gondwana Canyon Park. Refreshments and a small snack are included.

The early morning trip is just as spectacular. Together you will drive to a place with a great view, where you can enjoy coffee or tea and rusks while watching the sunrise against the unique backdrop of the Gondwana Canyon Park. This is followed by a one-hour walk back to the lodge.

On a hike through the Gondwana Canyon Park you will be accompanied by a guide who will be happy to share his knowledge of the fascinating desert landscape around the canyon. This tour does not go to the Fish River Canyon and begins after an early breakfast. Duration: around three hours, including a bottle of water).

All guests are invited to end the day with a short trip up the small mountain in front of the lodge. You can watch the sunset with a drink. Refreshments are charged to the room.
