Among 8 species of Baobabs in the world, 6 are only existing in Madagascar. The Baobabs of the famous alley are the Adansonia Grandieri. These huge trees are several hundred years old. This is one of the most popular and visited places in Madagascar. These Baobabs can be up to 800 years old and be 98 feet high (30 m). The diameter of the largest trees can reach up to 36 feet (11 m). The dozen baobabs giving to the alley will reveal their beauty especially with the red colors of dawn/dusk.
