Ratskeller zu Lübeck is a traditional restaurant offering regional gastronomy within the old town hall complex and wine cellar. It took from 1230 to 1570 to complete the extensive building, and today visitors can admire the idiosyncratic, interesting mix of architectural styles, from the Gothic period to the Renaissance, which was caused by the long construction period. In the beautiful historical rooms of the restaurant, under high vaults, guests of the old Hanseatic city can enjoy fine Holstein cuisine, fine wines and tasty beer.
