The Topnaar 4x4 Tour is a two- to three-hour scenic and educational drive in a 4x4 vehicle. The first stop on this tour is the Walvis Bay Lagoon where visitors can see more than a hundred bird species and the biggest population of flamingos in Southern Africa. This is followed by a visit to the Walvis Bay Saltworks and the tour ends with a visit to the local Topnaar tribe. Visitors will also be introduced to dune driving and have numerous opportunities for taking photographs.
The second tour is a two- hour scenic and educational drive on quad bikes over the dunes in the desert where visitors will have numerous photo opportunities and learn about the animals and people and how they survive in the desert.
