Chonta is a small village only three hours from Cusco.  Its unique location makes it a special destination for nature and wildlife lovers.  The Apurimac river can be seen from the condor mirador. The condors that live at the bottom of the valley rise up in the thermals during the middle of the day and can be seen at eye level from the Chonta Condor Viewpoint.
