The bustling Plaza Santo Domingo is located in the city of Cartagena in Colombia. The square is surrounded by colourful buildings with verandahs, as well as several monuments and statues, including the famous Gorda statue designed by Fernando Botero. The square is popular for its numerous restaurants and cafes and also the shops selling various items ranging from souvenirs to clothing and jewellery. Tourists can also visit some of the nearby local attraction such as the arcades, the Dominican church or perhaps go on a stroll down to the beach.
