Grey Lake, located in Torres del Paine National Park in southern Chile, is a glacial lake set within a remote Patagonian landscape. Visitors can walk to viewpoints, take boat trips towards Grey Glacier, and explore surrounding trekking routes that offer changing perspectives of the lake and mountains. The Southern Patagonian Ice Field feeds the lake and contains drifting icebergs that break from the glacier, giving the water its distinctive colour. At the same time, its considerable depth and size reflect ongoing glacial processes that continue to shape the region over time.
