About The Pimalai
Nestled on a long stretch of white sand beach backing onto lush tropical forest, the beautiful setting of the Pimalai Resort Koh Lanta immediately evokes a sense of relaxation, peace and solitude.
Pimalai has 121 rooms, suites and villas by a stretch of beach almost 1km long.
Accommodation options range from Deluxe Rooms set in low-rise Thai style houses to luxurious pool villas at the top of the resort.
Pimalai Koh Lanta is a two-hour transfer from Krabi airport, involving a car and speedboat transfer.
There are a couple of popular local restaurants just a stroll away.
Pimalai has a great 35-metre long fresh water infinity swimming pool, equipped with Jacuzzi jets. There is also an Infinty Pool at the Pool Villa's estate, 50 meters above sea level, with superb 180-degree views of the bay.

Bear in Mind
Pimalai Resort is quite spread out and the villas further up the hillside can mean a bit of walking to and from the restaurants & sea (there are golf buggy transfers), but Pimalai's villas are super and the views over the rainforest and the sea are simply wonderful.
Surrounded by lush greenery and the endless ocean, guests can enjoy Koh Lanta’s serene landscape from the comfort of their own private balcony. These air conditioned rooms are spacious with a minimum of 48 square metres, and are designed to keep guests comfortable and well rested throughout their stay. Guests can enjoy a partial sea view and just a stone's throw away from the beach. In the two-bedroom pavilion suite, the second bedroom features plush twin beds and a large bathroom. The bathrooms overlook a private manicured garden, complete with an open-air shower. Each bathroom comes equipped with double vanity basins, separate walk-in shower and an elegantly fitted bathtub. The second bedroom, with its own separate entrance, is located at a distance from the master bedroom, and living room area, offering its occupants complete privacy.
Guests can indulge in luxury when they experience Pimalai's signature hillside ocean view pool villas that stand amidst the lush green hillside, allowing guests to truly experience nature at their doorsteps. Located 60 to 80 metres above sea level, guests will enjoy astounding views of the sea from the comfort of their villa. Guests can enjoy a variety of different kinds of non-motorised activities on the beach, all equipment is provided. Activities include kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boarding, sailing, body boarding, beach football, and beach volleyball.
Yoga classes are aimed at beginners, mats are provided, and bookings must be made one day in advance. Private yoga sessions for both beginners and advanced students can also be arranged.
Guests to Thai cooking classes will learn to cook a few traditional recipes under the guidance of a Thai chef. In addition to the class, guests will also receive a recipe guideline, a souvenir Pimalai cooking apron, and a framed cooking certificate.
Scubafish at Pimalai, is a five-star PADI dive centre offering an unrivalled reputation for high quality, personal service, and experienced dive guides who know the sites well. Departing directly from the Pimalai jetty throughout the high season, two very comfortable dive boats offer the shortest journey times to some of Thailand’s top dive sites, with spectacular reefs, unmatched marine diversity and great visibility. The location in the Andaman Sea is an ideal place to dive whether guests are learning to dive, having fun, or continuing their diving education. Diving groups are composed of a maximum of 4 divers per guide.
Koh Haa is located an hour away from the resort by boat. Guests joining the sunset cruise will depart from the resort jetty at 2:30pm. The activity includes swimming and snorkeling with fabulous visibility and colourful corals, in the warm Andaman ocean. After an afternoon in the sea, guests will watch the sun set while sipping wine or beer, on their way back, returning to the resort at 6:30/7:00pm.
Koh Rok is located about 1 hour and 20 minutes from the resort. The tour includes a stop off at the picturesque white sandy beach of Koh Rok Nai, swimming in the clear ocean water, observing colourful corals, feeding fish, and taking in beautiful scenery around the island. After a barbecue lunch on board, guests will enjoy sightseeing and snorkeling at other sites around Koh Rok Nok, followed by relaxing on the beach, exploring the island, and keeping an eye out for local wildlife.
RAK Talay serves signature traditional Thai cuisine, open for both happy hour (5:30-6:30pm) and dinner.
Seven Seas offers guests superb western fine dining, and a beautiful coastal view. The restaurant is open for happy hour (5:30-6:30pm) as well as dinner.
