Magnificent views over mountains, forest and farmland, whilst riding through grassy fields, indigenous Fynbos, local vineyards and old woodcutters’ forest trails to local wine farms and animal sanctuaries in the area.
Enjoy a day on horse back, riding through lush indigenous forest, fynbos, vineyards and farm land with views over the Tsitsikamma Mountains to one of two of The Crags’ Award Winning Wine Estates for wine tasting and accompanying delectable snack platters at Bramon or Newstead Wine Estates.
Activities and lunch excluded from riding cost and to be settled directly at each venue.
Enjoy magnificent views over mountains, forest and farmland, with a sneak peak of some elephants in the distance whilst sipping local wine in the company of your fellow carriage riders. The trail takes you through the Bramon vineyards, past the tasting center and around the cellar.
Our vintage 15-seater carriage is drawn by two beautiful Percherons and our guides will entertain you with interesting facts and information regarding the history of Bramon, the Crags and wine making in our local wine industry.
A total of two wines for tasting are served at the tasting center along with a glass of wine of your choice to take back onto the carriage for the rest of the tour.

This ride offers limited open terrain, for an optional trot whilst being close to nature and enjoying the magnificent surrounds.

Optional trot and canter allowed on the Lush green fields at the estate.
