Avoca is situated on the River Avoca in County Wicklow, is considered one of Ireland's most beautiful locations, also famous for its hand weaving. One of the most iconic locations nearby is the Mottee Stone, it sits atop the summit of Cronebane Ridge, and at 800m high, provides amazing views over the Irish countryside. Close to Acova are the spectacular beaches of Enerielly, Brittas, and Clogga, as well as the “Meetings of the Waters” where the Avonmore and the Avonbeg rivers meet. Other attractions in the area include the Avondale House which can be accessed via the river walk, and the Glendalough Monastery, just a short drive away.
