Located on the bank of El Toro Lake, Torres del Paine lays in a region of extraordinary beauty. Surrounded by spectacular landscapes, ancient forests, lakes and turquoise colored rivers. Patagonia Camp has been designed and built to have minimum impact on the environment and to be visually and structurally harmonious with the landscape of the area.
Patagonia Camp has 20 Yurts with private bathrooms, comfortable, independent Yurts nestled in a dense forest of beech trees and facing the spectacular view of Lake El Toro and the Paine massif. Structured to provide a unique experience in nature, visitors at the Patagonia Camp are encouraged to enjoy the magnificent and wild nature of mythical Patagonia, combining comfort, convenience and the warm hospitality that Chileans are known for.
A 20 mts2 room , 8 mts2 bathroom plus a 25mts2 private balcony.
Each yurt has a private bathroom and terrace and is fully equipped with double beds (either king or twin), central heating and stylish decorations of locally handcrafted textiles and furniture. A beautiful central dome lets you enjoy the ever-changing Patagonian clouds during the day or the amazing starry sky at night, all from inside the comfort and warmth of your yurt.
From within our Yurts you will be able to hear the sound of wind or rain while you go to sleep, gaze at the stars right from your comfortable bed, and encounter one of the most beautiful landscapes of the world from your window or every time you step outside on our walkways. You will be immersed in a beautiful, aromatic native forest of coigües and notros, and enjoy watching and listening to the many bird species that live among us.
Two 20mts2 rooms connected. one of them works as a Master bedroom an the other one as a living room, 8mts2 Bathroom, private balcony and Private Outdoor Jacuzzi, central heating and stylish decorations of locally handcrafted textiles and furniture.

Patagonia Camp has 18 yurts, comfortable, circular and completely independent tents immersed in a wonderful coigue tree forest and all with spectacular views of Toro Lake and the Paine Massif. Each yurt has a private bathroom and terrace and is fully equipped with double beds, central heating and stylish decorations of locally handcrafted textiles and furniture. A beautiful central dome allows guests to enjoy the ever changing Patagonian clouds during the day or the amazing starry sky at night, all from inside the comfort and warmth of the yurt.

A deservedly famous and highly demanding excursion. After crossing the Ascensio River, you will walk uphill for around 2.5 km until reaching "Paso del Viento" pass at about 480 meters above sea level (masl), with a beautiful panoramic view of the pampa, the lakes to the south and the Ascensio Valley itself. From there, you will descend to the "Refugio El Chileno" shelter. Up to that point, vegetation is that of the pre-Andean scrubland bioclimate; from then on, vegetation changes completely, and as you climb you will penetrate the ancient Lenga tree forest until you reach the Torres Glacier moraine at 600 masl. Once out of the forest a final push of around 45 minutes of continuous uphill trekking will take you to the Base of the Towers viewpoint at 870 masl, where you will behold directly in front of you: the three granite giants, the best reward to your efforts! Throughout the trek, you will observe fauna such as condors, mora eagles, caranchos and other birds of prey.
An excursion that lets you discover three completely different environments: beginning at Guardería Grey area you will cross a mature Lenga tree forest where it is possible to observe forest birds, such as Magellanic woodpeckers and Cachañas parrot. The hike continues along the beach at the far end of Lake Grey where you can see the icebergs that have broken away from Grey Glacier with their amazing blue colors and breathtaking shapes. Finally, upon reaching the península you will enjoy a spectacular view of Grey Glacier and surrounding area, a festival of colors to delight your senses!
Patagonia Camp is located at the shore of Lake Toro within a Private Reserve of 34.000 hectares; the Lake Toro is one of the biggest fresh water masses in Magallanes with 202 km2, and you will have the chance of fishing in it!!! Because of its irregular geography it has several island, bays and river mouths, making it a must destination for those who love fishing. In this area is possible to find brown and rainbow trout with weights in between 1 and 8 kilos. The remoteness of some rivers and lakes makes that fishing in Patagonia is an unforgettable and unique experience, different from any other place in the world.
Onsite Restaurant
At Patagonia Camp guests can savor the best of local Chilean cuisine, a range of fresh flavors prepared with a gourmet touch, king’s crab, salmon, lamb and southern hake are some of the dishes that will delight the senses. All dishes are paired with the house wines, from the organic winery Matetic Vineyards.
